Since 01 April 2013 we have been supporting over 90 local authorities across England, Scotland and Wales with the discretionary elements of the Social Fund, nameley Community Care Grants and Crisis Loans for Living Expenses that have been devolved into their control.
These local programmes enable people, particularly those who are vulnerable and financially excluded, to seek support in times of need and play an important part in tackling poverty.
Our services offer delivery options ranging from Software as a Service through to a fully managed Business Process as a Service.
Our core Software as a Service is enabling local authorities to provide a public website for citizens to check their eligibility and make applications. Each authority can choose to share information with others, enabling them to check if claimants have made claims in any other participating authorities – significantly helping in the fight against fraud.
Where you choose to take up the fully managed Business Process as a Service, we are supporting applications made through a public website, through the post or by telephone. Our team takesdecisions on applications based on your policy and criteria and manages the fulfilment of awards. We can also work with you to deliver effective budget management of your fund.
