Northgate promotes partnership working as a means of delivering first class services, improving efficiency and continually improving performance in the public interest. Partnerships must be built on mutual respect, trust and understanding.

If public services are to be effective they have to genuinely engage in stakeholder partnerships bringing employees, citizens, and the public and private sectors together in collaborative, problem-solving relationships. This requires sharing quality information and working together in new and innovative ways to create mutually beneficial solutions. Technology can assist this process. But it cannot replace human relationships which are critical to managing change.
